Ellooo!! I'm back (again) to talk about my amazing time (again) at the Switchfoot gig!!! They sung less songs from the new album than I thought they would but still a highlight of my life. I'll never forget it :D. The stadium was the HMV institute in Birmingham and the stage was set up at the front (obviously) with a space on the floor for people to stand-which is where we were-and two balcony's on either side but apparently you had to pay extra to go up there :(. But anyway at one point during the gig Jon, the lead singer, went onto the left balcony and sang an entire song up there. It was so cool :D!!! He started to go near the edge and everyone thought he was going to fall of! There was loads of tall people there and I could hardly see anything from on the floor and I really wanted to see the drummer and what he was doing, but oh well. I'm not about to start complaining :P. See you next week and thanks for reading :).
HEYAAAAAA!!! Officially 13, officially got Facebook :D!!! Haven't got any prezzys yet because we are so short on money :(. But no worry's because my dad got paid a few days ago so I'm having my birthday tea tonight which is just classic pizza (mmmmm). I did get one thing I'd asked for which was a cymbal stand, but I had asked for two. I'm hoping I can get another one along with a crash-ride cymbal, but they aren't cheap :/. The cymbal is £63 and the stand is around £17, I got thirty pounds for my birthday but mum said she and dad would spend a bit as well :). Although I'd also like to get a new pair of jeans because I spilt paint on a pair when I was painting the Kript. What's the Kript you say? Well the Kript is this place under the stage at our church and it was an absolute mess so the youth went down there and gave it a huge makeover! We put loads brighter colours down there and put awesome designs on the walls! We used: King's Red, Silk Green, Funky Purple, Chocolate Milkshake and Taxi Yellow! When we fist went down there there was a painting of Pink Panther popping out of the wall but we kept that and put a TV round him as if he was popping out of it! There was another wall that-before we went down there-had splatted paint on it, but we thought we'd redo it with brighter colours. So we painted the wall white and threw a new coat of paint on it, literally! The last wall I'm going to mention is the hall wall and we painted it fully green then put a sillouhette of a city on it! We started on Thursday, slept over at the church then finished on Friday. I had a great half-term but I've done half an hour of typing now so it's chow for now!!!
Hey peeps I have arrived!!!! Haven't got much to talk about now that I've said everything. Although My Dad has arranged for me and a friend to go and see Switchfoot. My favourite band!!! They are coming on tour in Britain to advertise their new album Vice Verses, it sounds Awesome :D!!!! You can find them on Youtube. Anyway the guys in the band are Tim Foreman (bass and vocals), Chad Butler (drummer), Jerome Fontamillas (guitar, keyboard and vocals) and finally Jon Foreman (lead singer and guitar). I'm going to see them as my party and by the way my b'day is in a few weeks :D, so excited!!!! See you next week!!!
Hello citizens of the earth!!! Just thought I could tell you a bit extra about the hols, starting with Splash Landing. Splash Landing is basically the Alton Towers water park and some of you may have been. Anyway me and a friend went and came back with cuts all over our bodies (no this isn't a complaint). The ground is made with really sharp concrete so whenever you scrape the bottom you come back up with one extra cut. That's probably the only problem though. This is the second time I have been to Splash Landing with my friend but I didn't get battered that time. It is a great park and I highly recommend it. They have a climbing frame and every five minutes a HUUUUUGE bucket of water comes pouring down on top of you and they have an outside spa and slides. Their are slides inside though, I forget the name of the best one but I do know that one of them is called Water Works. You have to use rubber dinghy's on them both and the best one you can go down on a double ring or a single. Another thing I forgot to mention in last weeks writing were 2 Christian youth groups run by my friends grandparents, YG and Check It Out. The kids in both groups come from rough backgrounds where their parents smoke and drink and generally teach their kids stuff they shouldn't be doing. Some of them are already smoking and get beaten up at school. But their is hope!!! Two of the kids believe in God, Nathaniel and James. They both want to be baptised :D!!! PRAISE GOD!!!!!!!!!!!! Just please do keep all those kids in your prayers and pray for James and Nathaniel, that they will be witnesses to the other kids. GOD BLESS YOU!!!
Hello to the world!!!!!!!! Sorry I havn't written in so long, with the holidays on I guess I was just busy. I'm here now though and here to tell you what I did. Well the first weeks were really boring and we weren't planning on goin' on holiday but fortunately for me my friend had invited me to come to Scotland with him, his big sister and her friend. So we all went on the train by ourselves to Carlisle where we met my friends Grandparents (which was who we were staying with) and me and my friend became a 'big fat lady' for the rest of the week because we didn't all fit in the back of the car. I better add that I have been to my friends grandparents house 4 times before so I know them well. when we got there we found out which room we'd be staying in and dumped our stuff there then immediately ran outside to see their new welsh pony, prince (what an eater he is). My friends grandparents live right in the middle of nowhere and have acres of land, which means loads of space to run around. They have a collie called Harvey and I've told you about Prince. In their back garden they have a very small gorge or a massive ditch-which ever is easier to say- where they have a log swing which swings right out over the massive ditch. I managed to stay on all week till the last day when I fell off into this ditch and ALMOST landed in a massive pile of nettles. But my favourite part about the whole weeks was when I got bitten by a mole, yep, that's right, a mole. Basically Harvey found a mole and started chucking it all over the place and the mole was squealing and rubbing it's hands all over it's face, you had to feel really sorry for it. Unfortunately someone did, Rachael, (my friend Irvine's sister Aoife's friend, if you follow me) she shouted "someone pick it up!" so I said "oh fine" and picked it up by the body instead of the scruff of the neck so it wheeled round and bit my hand as hard as it could. Although I don't blame it because it can't exactly tell whether I'm saving it or trying to kill it. Moles are blind!!!!!!! Fortunately for the mole it got away, but I don't know if it survived because it had quite a lot of injuries. We had an AWESOME week, it was probably the best week of my life AND it left me with a story to tell my kids!!! Then a couple of days ago I went to Splash Landing which is an amazing water park but I don't have time to tell that story. So it's chow for now!!!
Heloooooowa! ENERGI ROCKS!!! Energi is an anual kids holiday club that I have recently been to. It's a christian camp and this year was the best year so far :D. You arive there on Monday knowing that God is gonna' show up but this year he went WAAAY beyond our expectations! Tuesday night we had live worship, got through two songs, but then God entered the room and loads of people were crying and praising God! I was one of them. That was only God preparing us for Wednesday night. He was getting rid of the sadness and guilt that we had taken on board through the year because Wednesday night hardly anybody cried! Yet God showed himself even more to us! I'll tell you about my night. Well it mainly started when I started the 'Jesus Chant' (JESUS! 'CLAP' 'CLAP' 'CLAP' JESUS! 'CLAP' 'CLAP' 'CLAP') which, if you go to the Gathering, will know what that is. As I was saying, I started the Jesus Chant and everyone joined in. Then when we finished shouting it we sang another song then half way through God told me to go around and just pray for everyone in that room, all 75 of them (approximately)! So I did that and while I was praying for a kid called Jesse he fell over in the Holy Spirit! God does some amazing things! But thats not all, one of the leaders called Ben had a sore ankle. I'm not quite sure what was wrong but that was prayed for and completely healed!!! But there was more healing! A guy called David who goes to my church had had exczema all his life. It was really really bad, it had massive cuts and dry blood where the skin had split. That was prayed for and my best friend Irvine was praying for him at the time and saw the exczema vanishing before his eyes! It didn't completely go but we were praying for it all night. In the morning he had a shower and it was pretty much gone!!! Before I get side tracked there was more healing, this time God used me to heal people. A girl called Rebecca had a really sore tummy and because this was after I'd been round and prayed for everyone, (including her) her sister asked me to come over and pray for her again. I prayed with everything I had and guess what, GOD HEALED HER!!! God is good!!! After that another girl called Beth asked me to come over and pray for David (this was before the exczema thingy). We don't know what was wrong with him but God did. So again I prayed and prayed, I prayed all my heart, soul and mind! Halleluia! God healed him also!!! He said he felt better than before! In the end I just spent time shouting aloud Gods praise! I still had a croaky voice 3 weeks after!!! The Lord is a creative and woundrous God and praise be to him forever and ever!!!
HIII! First off, I OFFICIALLY LOVE VELODROME CYCLING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first the corners seem 10 times steeper than they look on Tele' but when you go fast enough it's ridiculously fun. We all started of looking at the track and saying "We are going to die!" But if you start of nice and slow and eventually get faster it is soooo much fun. On the bends there are three lines; black is the lowest, then red, then blue. There is a big distance between the top of the corner and blue so the highest I got was just over blue but you have to go really fast. You're eyes start to water when you go fast enough but the feel of the wind in you're face is incredible. Well I'm going to change the subject now to drumming. You've heard me drum but I want to tell you about this guy called Craig Cackley. I don't know him in person but I know he is a Christian drummer. He is on You-Tube and has a blog. He does drum covers of christian songs, mainly Hillsong. But he also does Switchfoot, Fee, Phil Wickham and Queens of the Stone Age. I'll give you a link to my favourite drum cover and his blog.

daa naaa and that's the links but I'm gonna fly, see you next time!!!

Hello, I think I'm running out of way to say 'hi' :/. That doesn't really matter does it? Anyway I'm going velodrome cycling on Friday and apparently I need to know the inside width of my leg so that they know what size bike to get me. I'm going with the my Scout Troop (it is the same troop that took me to the flight simulator if you remember in a previous post) which meens I'll be able to race my friends :). I'm pretty good on a bike and I often ride down to my friends house. Velodrome cycling is basically bike racing, you may have seen it in the Olympics. Riders each start at opposite ends of the circle track and then race to do a certain number of laps. The first to their finish line is the winner! It's going to be so much fun! The downside is I have to miss my favourite club :(. Never mind, I'm not gonna' get another chance to do this again. Oh! And I got a new drum kit, it's a full size one instead of a Flats. I've got a load of videos on Youtube of me drumming on it, here's my fav'.

That's all I've got to say so I hope you liked the video and BYEEEEEE!!!
WAZZUUUUUUUP'!!! Plain old week with nothing to chat about, still racking my brain. I guess I could talk about my youth group. Is it all right if I do? OK well we have a problem with our leaders. You see our youth leader - who was absolutely amazing - stepped down and so we are stuck. Our youth leader, who is called Luchelle, started a youth group called Hydro-G with her friend, Rachel. So when Luchelle stepped down as youth leader we all wanted Rachel to become youth leader, but then she left to start a church in Chester. Our only other option would have been a couple who I am not going to name, but they are also moving away. Luckily, last time we went to Hydro-G we had a guy called Ben who was from a youth group up the road come and do the talk. He told us about a mission trip he did to Papua New Guinea and Australia, where he went round and told people about God :). While he was staying in a village called Townsville, which is in Australia, they got news that a hurricane was heading towards them. So they got busy running around pinning anything loose to the ground and boarding up windows. Luckily God kept them safe through it. When they woke up the next day and were just driving around looking for somewhere to go and preach, they saw the devastation. So they started to help people clear up there homes, which is when they got a call from the council to say thank you. He told us loads of stuff about his time and it sounded awesome. I wish I could say it all but I've got to go now. Don't forget, JESUS LOVES YOU!!!!!!!
Hello again!!! Thanks for looking at my blog. I haven't got much to say today except that we had our (other) cousins over and that Easter Weekend we are going to have our Nan and Grandad over. I'll first talk about my weekend with my cousins. Well they come from Birmingham at least twice a year, this is the first time they have come in 2011. We had heaps of fun and on Saturday we went to a candle workshop. It was the same one me and my brother went to when we were very young, so the candle I made this time was the second one I made. We paid for a candle holder as well. Everyone said mine was really nice (Thanks guys ;)). Who can wait till Easter?!?! I'm so excited partly because my Grandparents are coming over and partly because, well, it's Easter! Another thing that just pooped into my head was that the clocks went forward Saturday night. It was really weird this morning because when I woke up everyone was still asleep. I got myself ready like any ordinary day but by nine o'clock, everyone was still asleep (even my two little brothers who are usually up at about 7). I started to think "this is a little creepy". Eventually people started to wake up. Well that was a little random but I needed Something to talk about but for now I think its goodbye. See you next time!!!
Wazzup' homies?! Beautifully sunny outside but I've had my fair share for today :/. I think we're going to get a good sun set today. I'm having trouble typing today because Solomon is on my lap. He says ahhh which I take as hi :P. I had my Uncle David and my Cousin Ben over this weekend, it was loads of fun! My Uncle is a drummer (like me :)) and he is doing a gig soon with his band. He has this eight bar solo between two songs and because he lives in a block of flats, he neither has the space or privacy to practice. So I let him practice on my drums and he was thankful for that. My Cousin is a really nice kid. He brought along two Wii games which were: Family Ski and my Uncles game, Drum King. My cousin was sleeping in my room. He is also about my age.
That's all I got for you and Solomon is getting restless. Now he's shouting at me! Bye!!!
Hiyaaaa!!! How are y'all today? I've had a pretty boring day so far and my half term was pretty boring as well. I had two sleepovers (both with my two mates Dom and Dom, lol) and that was pretty much it. I want to just take the time today to talk about my Great Aunty Debbie. She is very sick with cancer and my cousin (her son) is very depressed. It makes me quite sad to think about it and I keep praying for her. My Mum and Dad are going up to see her soon but us kids can't go. She managed to last Christmas and we all thought she wouldn't last that long. I just hope we find a miracle! I'm going to talk about something good now. IT'S SPRIIIIIIIING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOHOO!!!!!! It was quite funny that the first day of Spring was sunny (straight from the cold to the sun) and we had loads of fun playing outside for the first time in 2011!!! In fact it's quite sunny now, the sky is clear and I'm feeling the heat through the window that's next to me!!!
I'm going to go now and make the most of the weather, see ya' later alligator!!!
Top o' the mornin' to ya'! Guess where I'm going today, the cinema!!! We are going to watch Tangled in 3D. It will be the first time my family have watched a film in 3D. Tangled is a really funny film (from what the adverts show) based around Repunzel. It starts with a thief who is running away, he finds a tower and climbs up to hide. This is Repunzel's tower but the thief doesn't know. Then there's a load of getting to know each other and then he finds out that Repunzel's hair is magical and must not be cut, but in the end it does get cut and bla bla bla. It's a really funny film as I have said , but that's all I've got to say so TA TA!!!
Hiyaaa!!! It's me again. I'm going to start of with Solomon, he's fine. moving on! I want to talk about the awful weather in Australia at the moment. The floods are awful, it's so sad watching all the peoples possessions being washed away. It's even harder to think that a few people have died! But then we come to the other side of Australia and find a cyclone! with peoples home being destroyed and everyone having to evacuate. I'm just glad we don't have that kind of weather in the UK. Although at the moment the wind is blowing like there's no tomorrow!!! and I'm sitting here in the study which is probably the most vulnerable part of the house :0. I've just remembered that about five weeks ago I got a new set of cymbals, They are made by Meinl which is a German company. The set includes; a 14" Hi - Hat, a 12" splash, a 16" crash and a 20" ride (That might just sound like gobbledy gook too someone who doesn't know anything about drums). Anyway, my drum kit is now fixed up. it used to be absolutely trashed but I've replaced a few stuff and it is playable again :). Altogether I spent approximately £163 on my drum kit (that includes the money I spent on my snare). I don't want to bore you too much with loads of stuff on drums so I'm gonna' fly
YO it's nice to see y'all. How's it hangin'. There's something I forgot to mention last week (I new there was something on the tip of my tongue to say) and it's that I HAVE A NEW BABY BRO!!!!!!! He's called Solomon Zephania Hampton. He was born on the 21st of December 2010 :). He is the cutest little thing ever in fact I might even be able to show you.

This was the day after he was born.

These two were taken at about four weeks.

I told you he was cute and by the way all these pics were taken on my mobile which is the Samsung Tocco Lite, it's a good phone :). well thats it for today so BYYYYE!!!
Hello!!! It's good to be back :). I had a great holiday and happy New Yeeeaaarr!!!!! YAY it's 2011!!! Today has been my first day back at school since the hols :/ so it's pretty rubbish. nothin' much has happened over the holidays, we went out a few days stayed home most. The only thing we did when we stayed at home was play on the Nintendo Wii - but luckily we got two new games; Wii Sports Resort and Just Dance 2 - so it wasn't so boring. Still I can't remember doing anything this holiday. We did a bit of woodcutting on Saturday but other than that I don't know what to talk about so I'll say bye and I know it was only short to day but it had to be so CHOW!!! :)
